Natasha

NVQ Level 3

I love working with Early Years children, watching each child flourish and grow every day at GCN, as they became confident, happy and content in this safe and caring environment. In my job I get to witness seeing each child fulfill their true potential and I just love being a part of the team that helps the children achieve this growth.

I have completed a CPD certified, Level 3 Nursery Nurse qualification at a Distinction level, I am first aid trained, and looking forward to continuing my training on the job and becoming the best Early Year Practitioner I can be. I also plan to further my Qualifications whilst continuing to do the job I love.

I am a Mother, to my Amazing daughter’s Katie aged 13 and Bethany aged 9. I love being a mother and feel it is the best experience you can have, watching and helping my girls grow up into beautiful young people. I feel everyday is a new experience or challenge, but look forward to each and every one.

I also volunteer as a Girl Guiding Assistant Leader weekly and 2 years ago gained a Leadership Qualification in Girl Guiding, I continue to look after and support the Rainbows and Brownies units which are the age ranges of 4 to 9 years of age. I love being part of a Worldwide charity and enjoy my role as Snowy Owl in our unit. Over the years I have gained lots of experience including voluntary work at my daughters nursery with Early Years which included duties similar to my role at GCN. I have also given up my time to help at my daughters school’s infant and juniors schools, helping in the classroom by assisting the children in a teacher assistant role and helping out with school trips, school events and as a reading assistant, which I still love to do when I am needed and available.

I love working at GCN and think the ethos and the caring environment it has to offer is incredible with so many indoor and outdoor activities and events, there is a huge range of environments for the children to explore and play whilst developing their skills and senses. It makes me proud to be part of this invigorating environment and I love being part of a team that help support the children in this caring, happy and safe place whilst learning through play.
